A. ARUBA...spent 2 weeks in aruba on my honeymoon.

B. BLUE...my favorite color!

C. CATS...i have two of them!

D. DANCE...i'll be honest, i suck when it comes to dancing! so when i saw this cup of at the grand geneva resort & spa in lake geneva, wi, i couldn't help but take a photo, lol!

E. EGGS BENEDICT...favorite breakfast food, besides crepes!  YUM!  below is a photo i took of my eggs benedict last fall over at the white gull inn in fish creek, wi [aka door county, wi]. the white gull inn actually won ABC’s good morning america's "best breakfast in america challenge" back in may 2010 for their cherry-stuffed fresh toast, which my husband had that morning.

F. FLOWERS...or florida, both make me happy!

G. GROSSE POINTE, MI....where i grew up. 

H. HOT AIR BALLOONS...love hot air balloons, especially these prints:

I. INTERNET...if it weren't for the internet i wouldn't blog, tweet and surf facebook, lol!

J. JAPANESE FOOD....more specifically sushi, YUM!

K. KEYS...never leave home with out them!

L. LOBSTER...although, i live in chicago i manage to have lobster 3-4 times a month! YUM!

M. MOVIE...my all time favorite childhood movie is 'STAND BY ME' --- yup, i had a huge childhood crush on a "young" wil wheaton. circa 1986, lol!

N. NEWPORT...as in newport, rhode island, oceancliff to be more specific. also where my family spent a number summer vacations. hoping to make it back out there in august!!

O. OYSTERS....love oysters!

P. PEONIES...my favorite flowers!

Q. QUALITY...prefers quality over quantity! 

R. RETAIL THERAPY...need i say more, lol!

S. STOWE...as in stowe, vermont. my family has been vacationing there [specifically the trapp family lodge] for about 17 years.

T. TEA...obsessed with ARGO TEA! especially, their frostea....YUM!!

U. UPNORTH...at our cottage in northern michigan [aka upnorth] is where i seem spend most of my vacations! can't wait to go back up over memorial day weekend!

V. VIRGINIA...where i went to boarding school.

W. WATER...i've always lived near water! chicago - lake michigan, grosse pointe - lake saint clair and even when i was away at boarding school i lived near water.

X. X...worth 8 points in scrabble!

Y. Y2K...Y2K is the year i got married! 

Z. ZERO...sorry, got nothing!

so excited, after this post i am finally going to place an order for a monogrammed letter boxes from marye-kelley decoupage. if you follow me on twitter and/or facebook you may have read my comments about marye-kelley decoupage. 

some of you inquired about what i meant by "letter box"?

i still can't decide what color to choose? med. blue, hot pink, yellow or possibly navy blue? decisions! decisions! decisions! 

right now i am leaning towards the med. blue color?

then i have to decide if i want my initials like above or have the letter box read MAIL? hmmmm? definitely think i am leaning towards initials.  in case i use the letter box for something other than mail? MENUS is another fabulous option i saw on their website.

most of you are probably familiar with frames similar to the one below:

i have seen these frames at gift shops all over the u.s. also, i know they have been mentioned in a couple of my favorite magazines HOUSE BEAUTIFUL and COASTAL LIVING.

oh well, can't wait to go place my order. i found marye-kelley decoupage on facebook, inquired about coupon codes and they were so kind to email me a coupon code for 15% savings...YEAH!!! 

so once my letter box arrives, i will be sure and let you know how it turned out!

don't be jealous...

rain rain go away,

come again another day!

i guess rain is better that snow! too bad, snow is in the forecast this week too! yuck! yuck! yuck!

guess that means today, i'll be sporting my tory burch rain boots and lilly pulitzer umbrella! i don't have a good photo of my umbrella, will have to update my blog later today with a photo. too bad my umbrella doesn't match my TB rain boots...oh well, i'll get over it! ha! ha! ha!

i will aso be sporting my favorite barbour jacket.

meanwhile, i am SO jealous that my parents are heading for florida for about 2.5 weeks!  good thing, we are going to be on vacation in las vegas in a month, guess i shouldn't be that jealous. plus, we were just there in january, ha! ha!

oh well, while up in milwaukee, wi over the weekend i went shopping with my SIL and my nieces. it was fun, except we spent too much time in the kids stores and play areas. ha! ha! below is a photo from inside the vera bradley store at bayshore.
