more photos from my vacay...

as promised, here are some additional photos from my visit to annapolis. one of my favorite inn's is the state house inn located in the heart of annapolis.

check out the beautiful wreath that welcomes you as you enter the inn...love it!

while wondering along maryland ave.,  i came across this beautiful pottery. not sure if it is the navy and off white color theme that i love or the fact that everything is covered in crabs! oh, in case you missed my last post about shopping on maryland avenue --- click HERE.

of course, while in annapolis i had to take a trip across the bay bridge to queenstown  to the GUCCI outlet store. to see what i purchased - click HERE.

back in annapolis, here are a few more photos...

after spending the night in annapolis, i headed over to georgetown, d.c. and alexandria, va. unfortunately for me, i chose a horribly HOT & HUMID day to visit!!!!! UGH! it was so hot i only took a photo of the vineyard vines store! ha! ha!

it was soooo hot & humid that i really wasn't in the mood to shop! pathetic considering the AWESOME stores in georgetown! that's okay, there's always next time! ha! ha! 

oh, yes....the outside temp may have been "102 degrees" outside according to my rental, but that didn't stop me from buying another BARBOUR jacket that wasn't even on sale! ha! ha! 

what was i thinking?!??! lol, right!!!! ha! ha!

maryland ave. shopping, oh my!!!

instead of posting fifty million photos...just kidding, i thought i would start by doing a post on a few shops worth checking out along maryland avenue.

first off, we'll take a peak inside the peake house.

seriously, this store is my favorite store in all of annapolis!

i could spend an hour or so wondering both floors of the store.

next up another adorable store called be...home. although, i think last time i was in annapolis [3 years ago] this store was something else? anyone? 

while at be..home i noticed a beautiful display of ellen allen's collection. loving all the navy blue!!!!

finally, i stopped over at star monograms & gifts.

hope you enjoyed a little tour of the peake house, be...home and star monograms & gifts. it was fun to wonder around the shops. if you are ever in annapolis be sure and visit maryland ave!

trip to the GUCCI outlet...

i haven't had a chance to download all the photos from my vacation. however, i took a few photos with my phone which i planned on sharing on twitter, but for some reason have been unable to access twitpic? strange, i know!

anyway, after arriving in richmond i drove up to annapolis, md. wondered around the harbor, enjoyed some seafood and drove over to queenstown, md to the GUCCI outlet.

sadly, it was slim pickings! however, i managed to purchase this abbey d-ring medium black wallet i wouldn't call this a medium wallet, it's huge! ha! ha!

the wallet is part of the same collection as my GUCCI medium abbey purse which i purchased back in '06? i think, or was it '07...can't remember? 

i paid $279.00 [plus tax], not great but still better than paying retail around $410.00! i was really hoping to find a tote or two, but nothing caught my eye! ha! ha! 

while in richmond, i stopped over at nordstrom in short pump and bought yet another pair of jack rogers. i posted about them last night, but in case you missed the post here's a photo of my new black label jack rogers in brown....LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!

i'm back...

it was so nice to get away, despite the sweltering HEAT! i swear the whole time i was away i had the a/c on in the rental! yuck! on that note, it was SOOOOO nice to come home to 60 degree weather!

while on vacation i made it back to a number of my favorite places...annapolis, georgetown, alexandria, richmond, charlottesville and williamsburg. fun! fun! fun!

of course, i shopped along the way and picked up some fabulous goodies which i'll blog about at a later time. however, i wanted to post a photo of my new black label jack rogers in brown! these could be my favorite jack rogers yet!!!

okay, the laundry is done, my bags are packed and my vacation has officially started! tomorrow i am heading to annapolis, can't wait! hoping the gucci outlet in queenstown, md won't let me down, lol!

seriously, couldn't ask for a more perfect day here in chi-town!

although, like red paint i think i could use another coat on my fingers. two coats just don't seem to be enough! ha! ha!

sheesh! i turned out to be a rather HOT & HUMID [yuck! yuck! yuck!] day in chicago, so much that i've decided to scrap my shopping plans! instead i visited the farmers market, had a mani & pedi [obviously], took a dip in the pool, a currently doing a few loads of laundry and shortly heading out for sushi and the chicago white sox/tigers game! fun! fun! fun!
